I attended the 2014 Pennsylvania School Librarians Conference in Hershey last week. I came back to my library invigorated and ready to make some changes that include: moving the lower school non-fiction books to shelving that is easier to access; taking inventory and weeding; teaching more research lessons in 6th and 9th grade; consider a curating tool like LiveBinbers or LibGuides; and using Moodle more to flip some lessons and promote online learning.
